The customer asked why would the water temperature rise from 18℃ to 23℃ when cooling laser diode

Presently, this customer purchased CW5000 chiller of 800W cooling capacity by himself, and equipped with dual water loop to cool dual 20Watt laser diode. However, he found that the water temperature rose up after cooling laser diode.
Below is the possible reason
1.so when the water entered into the device, the set water temperature at 18℃ went up to 23℃ after absorbing the heat generated from the device. But the 23℃ water drops to 18℃ after flowing back to the refrigerating system in the chiller then the 18℃ water went through to the laser diode
again for constantly cooling, thus the water temp is kept stably at 18C.
 
2. chiller CW5000 of 800W cooling capacity does not satisfy the cooling requirement of 20W laser diode , so S&A suggest  the customer to select chiller CW-5200 with larger cooling capacity.
Therefore, it’s normal that the customer questioned there is a temperature difference between the water inlet and outlet. S&A water chiller will have the water temperature kept in the set temperature to not effect on the cooling efficiency.
