Recently, we received the email about the temperature issues of S&A chillers.
The customer reflected when he tested the chiller CW-6000, and after 5 minutes the alarm is beeping because T° is over 30° and "E2" error message on display.
Now I show the customer solution as follow:
1. reset to factory setting.
Turn off the chiller first. Press and keep holding ▲and▼buttons then turn on the chiller. Do not release the buttons until the controller display rE.

If the chiller still raises alarm after restoring factory setting, please test the compressor and capacitance as below:
1. When the chiller is working, please touch the compressor to see if it's shaking.
2. To see if the copper tubes in the condenser is very hot. (Normally above 80C)
3. Turn off the chiller to measure the capacitance of the compressor to see how many μF it’s read.
4. Open the top plastic cover of the compressor, then turn on the chiller to measure if the white terminal has 220V, or
let me know how many volt it is read. (there are 3 terminals, white, blue and black)
5. Please measure the CM1 wire behind the temp. Controller to see if the compressor input current has 2-6A.
